Department Director

Mariana, a neuropsychologist with nearly three decades of clinical and community work, leads Emunah’s Neuroscience and Mental Health Department. She has volunteered and organized initiatives across the globe, bringing deep expertise and compassion to every program she helps shape.

Preparedness &
Crisis Management Department Director

Héctor brings over 40 years of service in the Military to his role at Emunah, including work on UN missions. He served in Haiti during disasters. Also, led a logistics response to the Curicó, Chile earthquake. He mobilized aid within 72 hours while off duty. His leadership and commitment helps guide Emunah’s approach to preparedness and response.

Learning and Academic Support Department Director

Angeles combines a decade of tutoring experience with a background in military service, language interpretation, and educational support. She has worked with learners of all ages, while also dedicating herself to understanding and supporting diverse learning needs. Her approach shapes Emunah’s academic programs to be inclusive and practical.

Fundraising and Events Facilitator

Virginia, an occupational therapist with extensive event planning experience, organizes fundraising and community events for Emunah. From church and city events to school functions, she ensures each gathering aligns with the foundation’s mission and fosters community connections.

Volunteer Coordinator (Adults)

Juan José has a strong background in volunteer coordination, community engagement, and leadership. At Emunah, he guides adult volunteers in finding meaningful ways to serve, ensuring their skills and interests align with the foundation’s goals. His experience and steady leadership help create a welcoming, purpose-driven environment for everyone involved.

Case manager Supervisor

Ignacio leads Emunah’s case management team, making sure individuals and families get personalized support during crises. He focuses on empathy and efficient coordination to help the team provide the resources and assistance needed to overcome challenges.

Communications & Public Relations Committee

Belén is a young girl who bring energy, creativity, and heart to our Communications and Public Relations Committee. Together, they manage the foundation’s social media presence and serve as enthusiastic hosts and liaisons at events. Their natural communication skills and deep commitment to Emunah’s mission help build strong connections both online and in person.

Volunteer Coordinator (Youth)

Josefina is a student with experience leading youth groups. At Emunah, she manages youth volunteers, helping them contribute meaningfully to the foundation’s work. Her energy, empathy, and leadership are key to building a strong community of young changemakers.

PREPAREDNESS & CRISIS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR

With over four decades of dedicated military and humanitarian service, including UN mission deployments and emergency responses in Haiti and Chile, Héctor brings unmatched experience in crisis leadership. Now a key Board Member and head of the Crisis Management department, he designs Emunah’s strategies for preparedness and rapid response. His on-the-ground expertise ensures the organization can promote and bring tools effectively, enhancing resilience and saving lives.

LEARNING AND ACADEMIC SUPPORT DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR

Ángeles merges a decade of tutoring experience with military service and language interpretation skills, defining Emunah’s educational initiatives. Elevated to the Board and heading academic programming, she leads in making education accessible, culturally responsive, and tailored to diverse learners. Her leadership ensures each program is inclusive, practical, and supportive, uplifting individuals through meaningful academic development.
